Parmi ses premiers clients, un ressortissant britannique : Thomas W. Rammell, inventeur du <a href=\"https:\/\/fdelaitre.org\/lpf2\/Crystal.htm\">chemin de fer pneumatique du Crystal Palace<\/a> \u00e0 Londres. Rammell fit plusieurs s\u00e9jours dans cet \u00e9tablissement de 1879 \u00e0 1881 pour tenter de convaincre &#8211; sans succ\u00e8s &#8211; le Minist\u00e8re des Travaux Publics fran\u00e7ais de construire un chemin de fer pneumatique entre la Porte Maillot et&#8230; le Jardin d&rsquo;Acclimatation &#8211; un s\u00e9rieux concurrent pour <a href=\"https:\/\/fdelaitre.org\/lpf2\/Ja.htm\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/fdelaitre.org\/lpf2\/Ja.htm\">la ligne \u00e0 voie de 50cm<\/a> qui existe encore de nos jours. (Il est \u00e0 noter que Wikipedia (en) indique que Rammell serait mort du diab\u00e8te en 1879. Il semble bien que <em>T.W.
