C&rsquo;est au tour de Paul Scoles d&rsquo;avoir rejoint ce 9 mai 2014 le Grand Mod\u00e9liste, celui qui au Ciel travaille \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9chelle 1:1.<\/p>\n<p>Paul, un v\u00e9t\u00e9ran de l&rsquo;US Army, bless\u00e9 au Vietnam et titulaire de deux Silver Star, fut un temps propri\u00e9taire du Little Depot Hobby Shop \u00e0 Anaheim, CA. Il s&rsquo;\u00e9tait ensuite orient\u00e9 vers la prise de son et avait dirig\u00e9 le studio d&rsquo;enregistrement Ironwood \u00e0 Seattle, WA. Chez les ferroviphiles, il \u00e9tait connu pour son Pelican Bay Railway &amp; Navigation Company, un r\u00e9seau en Sn3 (\u00e9chelle \u00ab\u00a0S\u00a0\u00bb 1\/64e sur voie de 14,3mm repr\u00e9sentant la voie \u00e9troite US de 3 pieds\/914mm), inspir\u00e9 des lignes Californiennes du South Pacific Coast et du North Pacific Coast, au sud et au nord de San Francisco.<\/p>\n<p>Paul Scoles appartenait \u00e0 la g\u00e9n\u00e9ration \u00ab\u00a0post-John Allen\u00a0\u00bb, celle du mod\u00e9lisme d&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re. Aux immenses r\u00e9seaux aux boucles enchev\u00eatr\u00e9es succ\u00e9daient des trac\u00e9s plus lin\u00e9aires faisant une grande place \u00e0 des d\u00e9cors soign\u00e9s. J&rsquo;avais d\u00e9couvert le <em>PBR&amp;NC<\/em> lors de mes recherches sur le <em>South Pacific Coast Railroad<\/em>.
