Ce r\u00e9seau fut en exploitation de 1899 \u00e0 1931, servant au transport de bois depuis la Sierra National Forest jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 une scierie situ\u00e9e \u00e0 Sugar Pine, CA. A son apog\u00e9e, la compagnie poss\u00e9dait 140 miles de voie o\u00f9 circulaient sept <em>Shays<\/em> et plus d&rsquo;une centaine de <em>log cars<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"TEXT-ALIGN: center\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.fdelaitre.org\/wp2\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/11\/YMSPRR_1_1.jpg\" alt=\"YMSPRR_1_1.jpg\" width=\"347\" height=\"520\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Le YMSPRR a restaur\u00e9 et fait circuler 2<em> Shays<\/em> \u00e0 3 bogies, chauffe au fuel, provenant de la <em>West Side Lumber Co.<\/em> : la #15 (60 tonnes, construction <em>Lima Locomotive Works<\/em> 1913) et la #10 (83 tonnes, construction <em>Lima Locomotive Works<\/em> 1928).
