Sunny afternoon in Montreux MOB station. ABDeh 8/8 No 4004 shunts a classic MOB train still in full MOB livery.

Brig MGB (Matterhorn-Gornergrat-Bahn, the Zermatt-Disentis line created from the merger of former BVZ and FO companies) station is still in the forecourt of the SBB/CFF station. A track layout similar to the one used by RhB in Chur for the Arosa line.

A misty sunset on the Salagnon Island, near Montreux on the Leman Lake, not very far from a Monet painting.

By noon on a sunny spring day, standard-gauge BLS RABe 435 “Lötschberger” pauses briefly in Zweisimmen station, Switzerland, to ensure interchange with meter-gauge MOB Golden Pass services to Montreux, before returning to Spiez on a Regio service.

Waiting for the peak hour, two Re450 push-pull trains stay idle under the snow on the western sidings of the Baden SBB/CFF station. These trains operate the S6 S-Bahn line (Baden-Zürich Hbf-Uetikon).

First snow in Filisur as seen by the Hotel Grischuna Webcam (Graubunden, Switzerland). Summer version is here: http://fdelaitre.perso.sfr.fr/RhB-05.htm

Just a short railway video I put on Youtube some time ago, re-posted on Posterous to check Youtube interactions. Place is Froissy, France, near Amiens on the 60cm touristic line. This was a special event to celebrate the closure of the line for the winter season
