One of the pleasures of the trip ! Menu tonight is Tuna Carpaccio with Balik Beer (from brewery Locher in Appenzell, Switzerland). Yumm!
The Listening Marmot is the mascot of the Menuhin Festival in Gstaad, and a common sight in Montreux MOB station since it was chosen as a livery for the Ge 4/4 #8003. A very successful paint scheme for this serie of powerful mountain locomotives, my favourite with the “Swisscanto Anlagefond” livery of the Ge 4/4 III #647 from RhB.
A very rare occurence: Freddy Mercury’s statue without any admirers around. Time is one o’clock p.m.. Salagnon Island is in the background. The show is going on…
